BattleMech Triage Goes Mainstream

[24 January 3071; MercNet] Since the onset of the Succession Wars our militaries have learned to make do with the scraps of battle, learning the jury-rig and tape together the weapons needed to keep fighting, to survive. A handful of military industries survived the wars, but not all of the technologies that had blossomed during the golden years of the Star League. The recovery of the Helm memory core reversed the decline, and the spread of knowledge and technology was rapid and complete, to the point where the adults of the 3070s live in an era of cyborgs and WarShips and legions of brand-new BattleMechs.
